Column Input Board¶
The Column Input Board is used with the Matrix Input Board], and provides eight switch positions with diodes. It can be wired for push buttons, DIP-switches, or a (powered) connector. With the proper receiver board, the connector could be wired to an opto-board.
Note that not all connectors can be populated at the same time. Populate what you need.
Column Connector (J9)¶
The board must be connected to a column of a matrix board.

Switch Connectors (J0-J7)¶
Each switch connector can be wired for a push button switch, or a 4-pin connector with this pin-out:
IN— Switch inputOUT— Switch outputVCC— PowerGND— Ground
Short IN to OUT to engage the switch. The connection is already protected through a diode.
Power Connector (J8)¶
The power connector is optional. It has the following pin-out:
VCC— Power- (not connected)
GND— GroundGND— Ground
